Now-a-days the average celebrated ‘fit and healthy’ model is someone with a sculpted body, less than 9% body fat, every muscle you can imagine is visible and is always in the gym. That’s all well and good but lets be honest, who really has time for that?
A lot of people get put off exercising due to ‘not having enough time’ because they believe they would need to be in the gym for an hour or two everyday to reap the benefits of becoming a fitter and healthier person.
But this mantra couldn’t be further from the truth, if you are interested in remaining healthy and you want to prevent yourself from suffering diseases like, stroke, heart attack, diabetes and heart disease then all you really need to do is spend 30 minutes exercising, 5 days a week at a moderate intensity. (YES! Really that’s all)
Don’t let the thought of having to be in the gym 24/7 stop you from starting at all (we can leave that to those that don’t have a 9-5) All you need to do is spend 30 minutes a day, and if you can’t spare the 30 minutes all in one go, you will also see the benefits if you divide your time into two or three segments of 10 to 15 minutes per day.
