The Importance of Rest
I know once we get into our exercise routine the thought of taking a rest day feels like torture. But sadly rest days are incredibly essential to helping you get the results you want. While you rest is when your body has the time to build and repair itself.
Not including a rest day is actually doing a disservice to yourself as it can lead to over training which makes you more susceptible to injury. So make sure you are looking after your body and getting the results you are working towards by including rest days into your training.
